The Vice President, Specialty Strategy and Growth is responsible for supporting the broad strategy and growth for CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy, the fourth-largest specialty pharmacy in the country. This executive will be directly responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation/optimization of formulary and clinical strategy programs and corresponding systems that enhance or improve member clinical outcomes while also pursuing partnerships and strategies to drive growth in prescription volumes and revenue.

This person will serve as the seniormost strategy and growth leader for CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy, building relationships and networks that broaden our access to limited-distribution drugs and increasing the profitability of our Specialty strategy. The VP will lead all the non-operations aspects of the Specialty Pharmacy including strategy around access to limited distribution drugs, 340b, pharmaceutical relations, Specialty Pharmacy sales, and contracting.

The Vice President will report directly to SVP of CenterWell Pharmacy and CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy and will lead a multi-level organization of roughly 100 associates with five direct reports. This position can be located anywhere within the lower 48 states and does not require relocation.

Key Responsibilities
• Leading best-in-class Specialty Clinical Programs that drive value with members, providers, and payors- allowing CWSP to become a valued partner by all stakeholders.
• Driving connectivity between the pipeline and manufacturers.
• Development and execution of the overall specialty pharmacy strategy, tactical plans, and collaborate with Humana leadership to drive an integrated end-to-end specialty pharmacy experience and overall growth strategy.
• Driving preferred payor agreements with industry payors.
• Further development of a payor-agnostic specialty pharmacy strategy.
• Pursuing partnership opportunities to bring strategic plan to life by highlighting and selling our bench strength and value (strong clinical programs, ability to ship/distribute at scale) to new customers.
• Function as a senior advisor to the executive team leading the Humana Pharmacy business, with the ability to be a strategic thought-partner and to synthesize and communicate complex ideas.
• Drive major enterprise-scale decisions impacting CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy's P&L, such as vision-setting, initiative prioritization, and leadership.
• Provide strategic leadership to a high-performing team of Pharmacy professionals; grow the team by recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining high-caliber talent.

The ideal candidate will have extensive specialty pharmacy leadership experience within the pharmacy benefit management field. A proven record of success in delivering significant and quantifiable clinical and financial results. Finally, this person will be a strong leader of people with proven success in expanding and elevating the capabilities and performance of a multi-level team.

Required Qualifications
• 10 or more years in the Healthcare Industry and Specialty Pharmacy.
• 8 or more years of management experience.
• Strong external network in Specialty Pharmacy and Pharma.
• Deep specialty pharmacy experience.
• Experience working with clients.
• Experience supporting RFPs with Manufacturers and Payors.
• Experience with overarching clinical strategy and/or programs.
• Experience leading sales.
• Knowledgeable about service delivery in pharmacy business- understands natural tension between ops and strategy.

Preferred Qualifications
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Specialty Pharmacy operations experience preferred.
