THE ROLE

Snooze, in the Mile End HomeCo centre is seeking an astute , reliable Warehouse Team Member to assist in the logistics of the retail store.

The key aspects of the role are:

- Manual handling of mattresses and furniture . Goods receipt and loading for delivery to customers

- Movements of stock within the store warehouses , utilisation of store forklift and vehicles

- Regular communication to retail team members, customers and suppliers relating to stock and deliveries

- Assist with deliveries and installation of products to customer residences

This Role will commence on a Casual basis (Monday to Friday), daytime hours with of approx. 25-38 hours per week. Opportunity to progress to FULL TIME exists for the right applicant.

The role may be varied, opportunity for front line retail exposure also exists for an applicant with a background or interest with retail sales/customer service.

The successful candidate has:

Great attention to detail to ensure product QA and efficient operation of the warehouse.
Has a good fitness level for manual handling for often heavy / bulky goods
Communicates well with team members , customers and suppliers in a positive manner.
Sound IT skills to manage live stock . Pronto system experience is desirable.
A valid manual car licence, forklift license (Order Picker License ideal)
Retail sales/customer service experience is advantageous.
