Warehouse Associate in Freezer Department

Job description:

We are currently hiring for a full time Warehouse Associate position for our freezer department.

Shift: Monday to Friday with availability from 5:00am - 1:30pm

Report to: Freezer Department Supervisor

Duties & Responsibilities:

Providing exceptional service to build/maintain quality customer relationships
Receive inbound orders
Pick and pack outbound orders
Stock rotation
inventory management
Equipment maintenance
Safely and professionally operate warehouse equipment to transport, rotate & restock goods and materials throughout the freezer department
Must be able to maintain composure/professionalism in high-pressure situations
All other duties as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Must be physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items (up to 100 lbs)
Must be 18 years of age or older (required)
Must have strong communication and customer service skills (able to read, write and speak English)
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimum supervision
Must demonstrate a proven record of consistent on-time attendance
Previous warehouse experience is preferred
Previous professional forklift experience is preferred
A high school diploma is preferred
Working Conditions:

Must be able to work in prolong hours in freezing temperature ranges (including being able to safely operate warehouse equipment)
Must be able to handle all types of food products including fresh: seafood, beef, pork, chicken, etc.
Steel toe (CSA approved) footwear is required at all times.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
