Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including the handling of goods, inventory management, and maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to operate various types of warehouse equipment.
Duties
Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and clamp trucks to facilitate the movement of goods within the warehouse.
Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of shipments.
Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels, order fulfillment, and stock replenishment.
Load and unload products from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Build pallets for shipping, organizing items efficiently for transport.
Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels and assist in cycle counts.
Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and operating machinery.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and address any operational challenges.
Qualifications
Previous experience in warehouse distribution or management is preferred.
Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as order pickers, cranes, and clamp trucks is highly desirable.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
Basic computer skills for operating WMS and other relevant software applications.
Must be able to work flexible hours as needed, including potential overtime.
