Responsibilities

The Warehouse Manager will serve as an integral member of leadership in the warehouse and will be responsible for the following:
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
Provides leadership within the warehouse operations team to help drive overall metric performance and meet customer expectations
Ability to lead, direct, coach and motivate personnel to desired outcomes
Safeguards warehouse operations by establishing and monitoring safety and security procedures and protocols
Controls inventory levels by ensuring inventory control processes are understood and followed and by analyzing issues, determining and implementing corrective actions to increase inventory accuracy
Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; managing and maintaining housekeeping programs and ensuring that 5S programs are followed
Leads warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results
Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 8 years of Supply Chain, Logistics, or Distribution/Warehouse experience

• Multimodal experience including TL, LTL and Parcel in domestic and International transportation
• Management or experience leading, monitoring performance, coaching and developing employees
• Strong analytical and decision making with relentless and thorough follow-up skills
• Work well under pressure
• Ability to multitask and work in ambiguous situations
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Comfortable dealing with internal and external customers
• Efficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access)
