Our customer focused solutions driven approach combined with industry leading global supply chain security TAPA certifications and expertise in the industries we serve, JJX are growing at an exciting pace and have a vacancy for someone to join our International Department with a focus on our air and sea freight operations which is the latest exciting addition to the business.
Having recently gained excise bonded approval from HMRC on our 175,000 sq ft warehouse facility and won multiple national awards over the last six months, our total international fulfilment offering presents plenty of scope in 2025.
THE ROLE
Salary: competitive (based on experience)
Location: On-site in Kingswinford, West Midlands
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Accomplishes warehouse operations by training and coaching employees.
• Oversees all warehousing and distribution operations.
• Meets warehouse operations by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets and scheduling expenditures.
• Develops warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage.
• Manages warehouse operations by stock control inventory management and motivating employees.
• Develops warehouse operations systems by analysing process workflow and implementing changes.
REQUIREMENTS
· A minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
· Proven ability to lead, inspire and manage team.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate.
· A strong desire to drive and implement change, with a willingness to challenge the status quo.
· Knowledge of quality principles and continuous improvement.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of health and safety standards and practices.
· Experience of conducting appraisals / performance management.
