Shift patterns: Rotational/ 06:00-14:00 / 14:00 -22:00

Location: Bedford - MK43 +AA

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
• To directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area
• To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence
• To track and trace orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

We'd love to hear from you if you have the following experience but don't hesitate to apply if you don't tick every box on this page - we're great at spotting talent and potential in everyone:
• Previous and practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment
• for this role you need to have previous experience within and completing Admin tasks
• Experience within a warehouse is a must have for this role
• Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports
• Previously experience on Forklifts would be an advantage
