**Job Overview**
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Driver to join our team at Waste Management. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely collection of waste services across New Zealand.
You will operate a range of heavy goods vehicles equipped with the latest technologies, and work collaboratively with your colleagues to achieve our goals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy goods vehicles in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records and paperwork related to vehicle inspections, maintenance, and fuel consumption.
Perform regular vehicle safety checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with colleagues to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during service delivery.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A current and valid Class 2 New Zealand driver's licence.
Relevant driving experience, preferably in a similar role.
A strong commitment to health and safety, and the ability to champion our culture of making sure everyone gets home safely.
