We are hiring for an Accountant II role, requiring 2–4 years of experience in accounting principles, GST/TDS compliance, payroll, and financial reporting.
Job Description

Our team at jobman-by-shunya-tattva is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support our day-to-day operations, statutory compliance, reporting, and process execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparation and maintenance of Profit & Loss (P&L) accounts, Balance Sheets, and other financial statements.
• Record day-to-day journal entries and ensure timely closure of books.
• Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and ledgers.
• Proficient in Tally, maintain data.
• Ensure timely filing and reconciliation of TDS and GST returns and other accounting compliance.
• Support in statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance-related documentation.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly MIS reports and dashboards for CEO and investors.
• Assist in compiling financial data and insights for business performance reviews.
• Process and verify vendor invoices.
• Coordinate and execute vendor payments on time.
• Maintain vendor master data and ensure proper documentation.
• Track receivables and follow up with clients for timely collections.
• Maintain ageing reports and escalate overdue accounts as needed.
• Track deferred revenue and invoices.
• Generate and share accurate invoices with clients.
• Maintain invoice logs and ensure tax compliance on billing.
• Coordinate monthly payroll processing in collaboration with the CEO.
• Manage payroll entries, reimbursements, and TDS deductions.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of Tally.
• Familiarity with TDS, GST, and basic payroll processes.
• Intermediate Excel skills – Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic formulas.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and organized.
