Requirements : -
Knowledge of various designing tools mockup/layout like Photoshop etc.
Can design website mockups/layouts in Photoshop from scratch.
Knowledge of HTML and responsive design
Added advantage if you have Knowledge of Illustrator, and layout like CorelDraw.
Good conceptualization and visualization skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
