Web Design Developer Job Description A web designer developer is responsible for the design layout and coding of a website They are involved with the technical and graphical aspects of a website how the site works and how it looks They can also be involved with the maintenance and update of an existing site write the programming code either from scratch or by adapting existing website software and graphics packages to meet business requirements Test the website and identify any technical problems Upload the site onto a server and register it with different search engines Know HTML CSS JavaScript PHP and other relevant web design coding languages Integrate data from various backend web services and databases Be responsible for maintaining expanding and scaling our site Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to operations and activities Web Developer Job Qualifications and Skill Bachelors degree in computer science web development software development or related field Web development fundamentals including HTML CSS and JavaScript Python Frontend JavaScript frameworks such as Vue React and Angular Backend frameworks such as Ruby on Rails Node js and ASP NET Content management systems CMSs such as WordPress Joomla and Squarespace UI UX design experience Working knowledge of graphic design REST API development Relational databases such as MySQL Agile and testdriven development best practices Education Experience Experience minimum 4 years
