Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer & Knowledge Management Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Job Overview:
This role combines expertise in both web design and knowledge management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining multiple websites that provide a user-friendly experience, attract new customers, and promote our brand. Additionally, you will develop and manage an internal knowledge base to ensure efficient information flow and employee training.
Main Responsibilities - Web Design:
Create engaging and user-friendly websites and landing pages that follow best practices for UX/UI design.
Develop high-quality graphics, icons, and other visual elements to enhance the website's aesthetics.
Evaluate website responsiveness across all devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).
Implement best practices for search engine optimization (SEO) to improve website visibility.
Stay updated on the latest web design trends and technologies.
Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on branding and messaging consistency across the website.
Main Responsibilities - Knowledge Management:
Develop and maintain an internal knowledge base with organised information accessible by employees.
Create clear and concise content in various formats (text, videos, tutorials) explaining company policies, procedures, and best practices.
Implement a system for categorizing and tagging information within the knowledge base.
Maintain and update the knowledge base as needed, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Train employees on how to use the knowledge base for self-service information retrieval.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Information Sciences, or a related field.
1 year of professional experience in web design and development.
Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and past projects.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic knowledge of Javascript.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Squarespace, Wix.
Excellent writing and communication skills, creating clear and concise content.
Knowledge management principles and best practices experience.
Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
