Qualifications
This position requires a strong understanding of design principles, user experience (UX/UI), and the ability to create engaging visuals that resonate with diverse audiences
5+ years of experience in graphic design or a related field
Portfolio of website projects with proven experience leading the UX/UI, web design, and UAT processes
Experience designing websites, intranets, and pages in Microsoft SharePoint
Strong understanding of web design principles, UX/UI, and responsive design
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into visually compelling designs
Excellent proficiency with design software, including Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, UX, InDesign, etc.) or similar tools
Ability to translate ideas from concept and planning phases to the production of visually appealing designs
Keen attention to aesthetics and fine details with strong communication skills
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, wireframes, sitemaps, drawings, and models
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Web Design, Multimedia, or a related field
Responsibilities
The Web Graphic Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing visually compelling graphics and web layouts that align with the organization’s branding and business requirements
Design Microsoft SharePoint sites and pages to meet business needs and enhance user experience
Collaborate with the business teams to design visually appealing and interactive web pages, leading the UAT process, as per the business requirements
Create unique designs and develop UI mockups and prototypes with a deep understanding of website functionality and visual appeal
Use creativity and design expertise to develop innovative and compelling visual concepts that align with client’s brand guidelines and business goals
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in design, web development, and user experience to inform and improve design decisions
Collaborate with web development professionals, such as front-end and back-end developers, to complete the full scope of web development projects
Conduct user research to determine design requirements and analyze user feedback to improve design quality
Write and edit technical documentation for digital interface products and designs, such as user manuals, testing protocols, and reports
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with business users and IT team members
Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
