Job description
Description:
• This is a remote position.
• Contract type: Independent Contractor
• Work Schedule: between 7am and 6pm MST - 40 total paid hours per week with 1 unpaid hour for break.
• Key Responsibilities include:
• Website Development and Maintenance: Build, update, and optimize websites using web development tools, content management systems (CMS), and coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Regularly monitor website functionality, load speeds, and resolve performance issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance, including security updates and bug fixes.
• Website Optimization Site Conversion A/B Testing Content Management: Upload and manage website content, ensuring it is accurate, engaging, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
• Collaborate with content creators and designers to align web content with branding and marketing strategies.
• Ensure website content is accessible and adheres to best practices and industry standards.
• Updating Product Descriptions, images etc.
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, including keyword optimization, metadata management, and link-building.
• Use analytics tools to monitor website traffic and user behavior, making data-driven decisions for improvement.
• Design and User Experience (UX): Work with designers to ensure websites are visually appealing, intuitive, and user-friendly.
• Optimize websites for mobile devices and other platforms to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to improve website navigation and design.
• Technical Support and Trouble Shooting: Provide technical support for website issues and resolve problems on time.
• Stay updated on the latest web technologies, trends, and security protocols.
• Project Management: Manage website projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and external vendors.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP) and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla)
• Strong knowledge of SEO principles and tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
• Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have experience with Shopify
