A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Wedding & Events Co-ordinator. The right person will be well presented, highly motivated and positive with a passion for customer service and hospitality whilst also possessing excellent administration skills.
The Role
Our Weddings & Events Coordinator will be responsible for:
• Looking after clients from the first viewing right through to their big day.
• Leading planning meetings and ensuring the smooth running of all administrative aspects of the role.
• Liaising with all departments – kitchen, housekeeping, front and back of house to ensure plans are communicated effectively.
• Managing weddings and events on the day, including timings, food and drink service as well as directing team members and leading by example.
• Maintaining excellent standards of service and venue preparation.
• Organisational skills and attention to detail are key to this role.
• Providing guests with venue tours and assisting the sales team.
• Bringing new ideas and market trends to the table.
As a Wedding & Events Co-ordinator you will be passionate about people. An excellent and confident communicator by telephone; email and face to face; providing a warm and professional service to all our couples and clients.
Previous experience in a similar position is desirable and the ability to work well individually but also as part of a close team is essential.
Bi-lingual fluency in English and an additional language such as, Turkish, Tamil, Urdu, Punjabi is desired.
This role involves evening and weekend work
