Our live streaming sales on Whatnot ( Tiktok) are a core part of our growth strategy, and we’re looking for a skilled Live Stream Operations Specialist to ensure our live shows run smoothly, professionally, and profitably.

The Role

As a Live Stream Operations Specialist, you will be the operational backbone of our Whatnot live shows. While our hosts engage customers on camera, you will manage the behind-the-scenes execution—handling technical setup, coordinating live auctions, and optimizing the overall viewer and buyer experience to drive engagement and sales.

Key ResponsibilitiesLive Stream Setup & Execution

Manage all technical aspects of Whatnot live streams, including lighting, audio, camera setup, and streaming software.
Ensure stable, high-quality broadcasts throughout each live show.
Live Stream Coordination

Work closely with hosts to plan and execute engaging jewelry-focused live stream content.
Monitor live chat, bids, and buyer activity to support real-time engagement and smooth auction flow.
Sales & Performance Optimization

Track live stream performance metrics such as viewer count, bid activity, sell-through rate, and revenue.
Assist in implementing strategies to increase conversions during live auctions and post-show sales.
Inventory & Promotion Management

Coordinate with the product team to ensure accurate jewelry inventory, pricing, and descriptions during live streams.
Manage live promotions, flash deals, bundles, and limited-time offers on Whatnot.
Post-Stream Analysis

Review live stream performance data to identify successes and areas for improvement.
Provide actionable insights to enhance future Whatnot live sales and operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For

Prior experience in live stream operations, live selling, e-commerce, or auction-based platforms.
Familiarity with Whatnot or similar live commerce platforms is a strong plus.
Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot issues quickly during live shows.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, live-sales environment.
Interest in jewelry, collectibles, or live auction commerce.
