Job Description:
Pikcha is searching for an experienced WordPress developer to help us develop our global marketplace, allowing artists to sell their digital images as Limited-Edition Prints and NFT’s. You will help create a WordPress website that complements the core product of Pikcha and serves as a key marketing element for the business.
At Pikcha, you will be responsible for:
• Design, implement and manage websites using WordPress
• Manage front-end and back-end website development
• Creating WordPress plug-ins, themes and Customizing templates
• Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code
• Collaborate with the design, marketing, customer experience, and technical team to understand and implement their design requirements
• Conceptualizing and developing design ideas
• Discussing project timelines and progress with management
• Conducting in-depth research for upcoming projects
• Staying updated about new developments in software, trends, and practices
To join our team, we require that you:
• Proficiency using WordPress
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Knowledge on React Js or React native will be additional bonus
• Experience using debugging tools such as Firebug and Chrome Inspector
• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end website development
• Hold a bachelor’s degree with a preference for computer science or a related field
• 3+ years’ experience with WordPress related technologies – mostly as part of a development team
• Knowledge of and/or experience with the Genesis Framework
Note: Experience 3-8 years.
Location: Anna Salai, Chennai.
Notice Period: Immediate Joining or less than 30 days
