Two vacancies are available, one in Alice Springs and one in Katherine.
The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) provides essential corporate functions to the Northern Territory Government, enabling agencies to focus on their core business. Workforce Services are delivered to client agencies under a centralised services model across geographically and culturally diverse environment. The Workforce Operations and Partnerships team provides support across a range of areas including Workforce Management, Workforce Performance portfolios, general HR Support, HR Service Centre, HR training and direct client engagement.
Your primary objective as a Workforce Operations and Partnerships Manager is to provide high-level advice and support on workforce matters through a client-focussed enterprise model to Northern Territory Public Sector agencies to assist them with management of their workforce services and human resources (HR) requirements, with a focus on HR case management.
As a subject matter expert, you will provide clients with a responsive, high quality workforce advisory service and end-to-end support to ensure the successful delivery of business objectives. Your demonstrated knowledge and experience of operational Human Resources Management (HRM) will assist you to undertake HR case management including performance, conduct and discipline matters.
These leadership roles will make good use of your high level communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, your well-developed written skills and your ability to establish collaborative relationships and influence human resource practices. Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and HRM systems would be well received.
Whether your preference is for Katherine or Alice Springs you will work alongside a supportive and inspiring team, you will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package consisting of; 11.5% superannuation, six weeks recreational and three weeks personal leave, up to 17.5% annual leave loading, three days paid shutdown over Christmas and the opportunity to further develop your career in the Northern Territory Public Sector. Flexible work agreements may be negotiated in line with operational requirements, as will assistance with reimbursement of reasonable relocation expenses, relocation allowance, and temporary accommodation support.
