About the Role
The Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions is focused on growing Victoria's prosperity and increasing participation through skills and jobs. The Principal Consultant, Workplace Relations will play a lead role in providing expert workplace relations advice and support at all levels within the department and across its portfolio agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic input into the interpretation of government policies, legislation and industrial relations initiatives.
Support portfolio agencies throughout the bargaining process.
Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with key stakeholders.
About You
You will ideally have proven experience in managing complex workplace issues in a public sector environment, high-level negotiation, consultation and communication skills, and the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders.
The Team
The position forms part of the People & Culture branch within the Corporate Services group, which consists of specialist functions including strategic communications, finance, investment and procurement, performance and governance, legal and legislation, people and culture, information technology and workplace services.
What We Offer
A competitive salary range of $134,5+3 to $157,355 (Plus Superannuation) for an ongoing full-time role, flexibility in work arrangements and opportunities for professional growth and development.
