Wound Care Nurse

Rio Vista Post Acute and Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Wound Care Nurse to join and lead our amazing wound care team! If you are passionate about patient healing and quality care, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Assess and monitoring wounds
Provide specialized wound assessments, treatment, and management
Cleaning and bandaging wounds
Working collaboratively with other members of the resident care team to determine if additional treatments or changes in care are required
Educating residents and caretakers on wound care, infection and injury prevention, and pressure ulcer (bed sore) care
Writing orders to expedite wound healing and avoid skin breakdown
Rounding weekly with Wound Practitioner and implementing orders
Qualifications:

Active RN or LPN license in good standing
Current Wound Care Certification required
Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute, or rehab setting preferred
Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills

Pay: $30.00 - $43.00 per hour
