X|Ray Technician

As an x ray technician working for a radiology chain in Ahmedabad, your key responsibilities would include:

Operating and maintaining x ray equipment: You will be responsible for operating the x ray machine and ensuring that it is functioning correctly. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and coordinating with the manufacturer or service provider for repairs as needed.

Preparing patients for the MRI scan: You will need to explain the procedure to the patient and answer any questions they may have. You will also need to ensure that the patient is positioned correctly on the table and that any necessary equipment is in place, such as contrast agents or respiratory gating systems.

Administering contrast agents: Some MRI scans require the use of contrast agents to enhance the visibility of certain body structures. You will need to prepare and administer these agents according to established protocols, while also monitoring the patient for any adverse reactions.

Monitoring patient safety: You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the patient during the scan. This includes monitoring vital signs, ensuring that the patient is comfortable and properly positioned, and responding to any adverse reactions that may occur.

Processing and archiving images: After the scan is complete, you will need to process the images and archive them in the patient's medical record. This includes using specialized software to create 3D images and providing a report for the interpreting radiologist.

Maintaining quality control: You will need to adhere to established quality control protocols to ensure that the images produced are of high quality and that the equipment is operating correctly. This includes performing regular calibration and quality assurance checks, as well as documenting any issues that arise

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
