The role: The Bucchi List creates content that feels more like a TV show or documentary than a typical YouTube video, featuring stories about divers, rock stars, tribal elders, coffee masters, guitar makers, blacksmiths, restauranteurs, and more.

Your job? Edit compelling, documentary-style videos that balance engaging YouTube storytelling with depth and uniqueness. You'll start with their next video in May about a tiny hidden Jazz bar in Tokyo with an 87-year-old owner who still plays in the house band.

Here's what you'll be working on
• Editing documentary-style YouTube videos about hidden, unique stories in Asia
• Collaborating closely with the creator to develop the best storytelling approach
• Contributing creative ideas to make videos more engaging while maintaining depth
• Potentially working on content for larger channels the creator is in talks with

The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience editing documentary-style or narrative video content
• Understand YouTube storytelling principles while appreciating deeper content
• Be a strong collaborator who can work as part of a team rather than just receiving footage
• Offer creative input and ideas to improve engagement and storytelling
• Balance YouTube optimization with authentic, high-quality content
