Accountant

Job Summary

The accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records and ledger entries to track all financial transactions.

Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payments, and collections.

Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Financial Reporting: Generate financial statements, reports, and analyses for management and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with accounting policy and standards.

Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, assist with tax planning, and stay updated on tax regulations and compliance. This includes employer responsibilities for employee taxes (TDS on salaries), other withholding taxes as well as all indirect taxes. Record keeping for GST, reconciliation, and obtaining a refund where applicable are key tax responsibilities.

Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and information
