Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting role, you will need to have
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
Proven experience with ERP systems (ideally Yardi)
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification would be an advantage

Responsibilities
As our new Permanent Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to
Support accounts payable to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and data entry
Prepare journal entries to multiple entity ledgers
Summarizing financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements
Support the external audit process
Provide detailed analysis and explanations of transactions and variances
Monthly reporting to banks and/or investors
Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies
Ensuring the company is compliant with all sales tax regulations and filings
