Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software, particularly in SAP.The Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records.
Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Prepare and maintain budgets, analyzing variances and providing insights for decision-making.
Conduct financial audits to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks, to manage financial data efficiently.
Generate financial statements and reports for management review.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support business objectives.
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role within the financial services sector.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including budgeting and financial auditing.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks; experience with other accounting tools is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks effectively.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
