Job description
The Accounting Clerk reports to the Assistant Controller and is responsible for Keeping customer accounts up to date with invoicing, processing payments and financial recordkeeping. Responsibilities include using specialized ledgers and accounting software to record and process expenditures, receipts and other financial transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
• Type and key accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
• Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
• Prepare and resolve invoices
• Research EFT’s and invoices
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
• Daily enter key data of financial transaction in database
• Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
• Inform management and compile reports/summaries
• Regular attendance to work
• Other projects and duties as assigned by management

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
• Excellent skills in MS Office Suite
• Ability to interact with all levels both internal and external.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of accounting and financial processes
• Ability to key information accurately and timely
• Attention to detail and problem solving ability
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles

Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2-5 years of relevant accounting, finance or related experience
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
• Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills.
• Solid communication skills (written and verbal).
• Excellent skills in MS Office suite.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
