This is a hybrid role with the expectation of being in the Jacksonville office 3 days a week
Oversee team audit and accounting portfolio for 70+ vendors which includes Procurement approval, Engagement letter review, fee approval and adherence to budget
Oversee dividend approval process to ensure dividends paid from FIS entities are within legal limits
Review and analyze annual audited and non-audited financial statements for multiple international subsidiary companies
Participation in annual audits and at times overseeing and coordinating audit requests
Research accounting and financial reporting rules and regulations in assigned countries and apply them to assigned companies
Manage various ad hoc queries
Manage the team’s performance by implementing goals and documenting progress
Develop, motivate, and empower staff which includes planning, coaching, recruiting, performance development and mentoring

About the team

The Global Statutory Reporting team handles the mandatory submission of financial information to government agencies in more than 50 countries worldwide.

This is a hybrid role with the expectation of being in the Jacksonville office 3 days a week.

What you will be doing
• Oversee team audit and accounting portfolio for 70+ vendors which includes Procurement approval, Engagement letter review, fee approval and adherence to budget.

What you bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 2-3 years of experience managing projects.
• 5+ years of accounting and/or audit experience. Big 4 experience is desirable.
• Proficient ability to create spreadsheets and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of external auditing processes and procedures as well as accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience in analytical and statistical examination for complex problem solving and ability to communicate to leadership.
