About Company:
LetsDressUp is a fashion-tech company that is trying to disrupt the customized clothing market. Given that India still doesn't have its own size chart and fashion e-commerce has the highest return rates (more than 40%) in the industry, LetsDressUp is trying to solve an interesting use-case, that is - how to execute and deliver a perfect-fit outfit at the customer's doorstep in a scalable manner? We are approaching the problem by creating a brand in the stitching market, which is highly unorganized and driven mostly by local tailors, boutiques, and studios, which are large enough (more than $10 billion). The stitching market is enabled by an aggregation of reliable tailor partners.

About the Internship:
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Process accounts payable, including reviewing and verifying vendor invoices and reconciling vendor statements

2. Process accounts receivable, including preparing invoices for customers, tracking payments, and reconciling customer accounts

3. Perform general ledger maintenance, including journal entries, reconciling accounts, and preparing monthly account analyses

4. Assist with the month-end close process, including preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements and MIS

5. Support the annual close process and the preparation of annual financial statements

6. Assist with the preparation and maintenance of data for GST and TDS returns and other compliance documents

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field

2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting

3. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Zoho Books, and MS Office

4. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

5. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Note: The staff accountant intern will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, including booking sales, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. This individual will also play a key role in the month-end closing process and the preparation of reconciliations and MIS every month.
