Onsite, Accounts Payable Manager for local transportation company with employer Paid insurance, HSA, Vacation, etc
This is a permanent role that offers an excellent opportunity to lead and develop our accounts payable team
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounts payable function, including the processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports
You will also be expected to improve our accounts payable processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy
As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for the following
Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable activities including invoice processing, payment processing, and expense report processing
Manage the accounts payable team and provide them with the necessary training and support
Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
Manage monthly closing of financial records and posting of month-end information, ensuring accuracy of financial statements
Maintain and manage vendor relationships, negotiate payment terms, and handle any vendor queries or issues
Review and approve purchase orders and contracts in line with company policy
Implement and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable function
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on accounts payable activities and issues
