Male and female both can apply for this job.Job description:Bookkeeping on Xero and/or Sage One and excel spreadsheetsBank reconciliationsPreparation of monthly management accountsUse of Microsoft Excel worksheetsAnalyse financial dataRegular contact with clients by telephone and in personHelp prepare financial information and ensure the accuracy of financial dataCheck financial records for accuracy, ensuring activities are carried out in accordance with agreed procedures.Preparation of information and reports for internal and external useWorking as part of a flexible team the post holder will undertake the following duties:Purchase Ledger processing:Input supplier invoices, including coding entries for VAT and expense typeCheck invoices to supplier statementsSales Ledger processing:Generate Sales invoicesFollow up unpaid itemsProcess journalsDuties:Filing, scanning, photocopying and archivingUpdating spreadsheets and standard letters as directedTaking telephone messagesAssisting accountants with administration duties for major projectsEnsure that good practice, customer care and health and safety are fully blended into day-to-day activities
