Job Description: The Administrative Assistant, Practitioner Staff Affairs is primarily responsible for administrative support in the Practitioner Staff Affairs department.

Experience

3-5 years experience in an administrative support position
Education

Office Administration certificate
Office Administration Diploma
Competencies

Communication skills
Advanced - Organizational skills
Advanced - Interpersonal skills
Advanced - Computer skills
Knowledge and Abilities

Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
Knowledge of College of Physician and Surgeons of Saskatchewan
Knowledge of Canadian Medical Protective Association
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of information
Ability to assume responsibility and work independently
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships.
Knowledge in the Saskatchewan health care system
Must be well organized and able to meet deadlines
Knowledge in Medical Services Branch billing procedures is an asset
Knowledge in quality improvement theory and methodologies
Self motivated with the ability to work independently
Knowledge of HRSDC, Citizenship and Immigration laws and guidelines
