The Role: Administrator
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our clients expanding team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the operational processes, ensuring that our organisational objectives are met with precision and efficiency. As an Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating various administrative functions, managing communications, and maintaining essential records.
Key Duties:
Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
Maintain both physical and digital filing systems to keep records accessible and organised.
Handle incoming calls, direct callers to appropriate personnel, schedule appointments, sign for packages, and assist visitors.
Manage email correspondence and respond to digital queries promptly.
Oversee calendars for senior staff, organise travel arrangements, and ensure all engagements are timely and well-coordinated.
Draft, edit, and proofread letters, reports, and other documents to support business communications.
Input and update data in various databases and spreadsheets accurately.
Prepare meeting agendas, take detailed minutes, and coordinate all logistics for meetings including room setup and catering.
Create and edit documents using word processing and presentation software.
Operate and maintain office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines.
Collaborate with other administrative staff and provide cross-support as needed.
Handle sensitive information with discretion to ensure confidentiality and compliance with privacy policies and regulations.
Adapt to changing priorities and ensure that all deadlines are met.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role.
Strong organisational and planning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and other office management tools.
Ability to multitask and prioritise daily workload.
High level of discretion and confidentiality.
A positive, professional demeanour and the ability to represent the organisation effectively.
The Package
Salary up to £26,000 depending on experience
Monday to Friday +:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
20 days holiday plus bank holidays
