Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at an aged care facility in the North Shore area of Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to the development of our residents' individualized care plans.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional care to older adults. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with colleagues to provide holistic care that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.

Lead clinical teams and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care
Develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and medical procedures
Monitor and report on the health status of residents, identifying any changes or concerns
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Experience working in an aged care setting, preferably with a focus on gerontological nursing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare teams
Proven leadership and teamwork abilities, with experience in mentoring and coaching junior staff members
A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practice in aged care nursing
