• Installing / Configuring / Upgrading AIX version 6 and 7.1 / 7.2
• AIX System Patching and maintenance of software.
• Experienced AIX (v6.1, 7.1, 7.2), PowerHA SystemMirror (v7.1, 7.2), PowerVM / VIOS (v2.2.5 and above), IBM pSeries Hardware (P7,8,+ models) Administrator
• Indepth knowledge and experience with PowerHA SystemMirror administration, configuration, cluster build, storage addition and filesystem administration, cluster nodes, topologies, networks, and heartbeating concepts.
• Indepth knowledge of AIX system administration, user administration, file / directory permissions, TCP / IP concepts, NIS, DNS, storage concepts, performance tuning.
• LVM and File System management and checking the system performance using OS specific commands.
• Working experience with PowerVM / VIOS, virtualization, LPM, NPIV, SAN-attached storage - Experience in LPAR / DLPAR and Micro-partitioning configuration / operations administration - NIM configuration and administration.
• Managing devices like HMC latest version + - Network Administration Configuration and administration of NFS
