The Role
The College is seeking an APS 6 Contracting Officer with experience in procurement, contract management and financial management. You will be responsible for contracting and procurement activities, developing documentation and managing approaches to standing offer panel and open market, including all elements of the procurement lifecycle. Additionally this role will be responsible for assisting with budget management and financial management of contracts. You will contribute to a high performing team, developing and fostering productive relationships, communicating with influence and driving commercial outcomes that comply with Commonwealth Government legislation and policy requirements.

This is a key role within the Business Management team and reports to the Executive Officer (XO) at the College. The role will be exposed to unique opportunities to learn client-level procurement and contract management practices, lead internal and external stakeholder engagement on contract management activities, and identify and implement strategic initiatives focused on improving division level business management activities.
