Position Overview:
The Sales Executive is a key member of the sales team responsible for generating new business opportunities and achieving sales targets. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and presenting suitable products or services to meet those needs. The Sales Executive will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and successful sales outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth within the Bangalore region.
Marketing Initiatives: Plan and implement marketing campaigns, promotions, and activities to increase brand visibility, customer acquisition, and brand loyalty.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, preferences, and competitor activities, enabling data-driven decision-making and effective sales and marketing strategies.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty to the Feedsco Global brand.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and training to the sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment, and ensuring their professional growth and development.
Sales Reporting: Prepare accurate sales reports, including sales forecasts, performance analysis, and market insights, and provide regular updates to the National Sales Manager.
Territory Management: Efficiently manage the assigned sales territory in Bangalore, including route planning, store visits, and regular follow-ups, to maximize sales opportunities and meet customer needs.
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Feedsco Global's superfood product portfolio, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages, to effectively communicate with customers and address their inquiries.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless order processing, stock availability, and timely delivery to customers.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement in sales and marketing processes, propose innovative ideas, and implement best practices to drive operational efficiency and achieve targets.
Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate sales terms, pricing, and contracts with clients. Respond to objections, overcome barriers, and address concerns to secure sales. Close deals within defined timelines while ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
Requirements:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. Previous experience in sales and marketing roles, preferably in the retail or FMCG industry, is advantageous.
Rich Experience of 2-5 years.
Sales and Marketing Skills: Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, developing marketing strategies, and achieving targets. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the superfood retail industry, market dynamics, customer preferences, and competitor landscape in the Bangalore region is highly desirable.
Leadership Abilities: Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work culture.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret market data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.
Relationship Building: Excellent relationship-building skills to establish and nurture strong relationships with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
Results-Driven: Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of delivering exceptional sales and marketing results.
Technological Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software.
Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
