Area Sales Manager

Responsibilities:
1. Sole responsibility of achieving sales targets in assigned area.
2. Creating requirements for sales team and submitting resumes of available candidate for the assessment.
3. Preparing sales target with NSM and achieving them with the help of sales team.
4. Team Selection and assigning the territories to sales persons, under supervision of NSM.
5. Sales Forecasting-Sales forecasting of assigned range (With NSM).
6. Target Setting-Target setting for individual sales personnel and Distributors and ensuring the achievements.
7. Market evaluation-keep an eye on sales team directly.
8. Keep an eye on competition activities & informing to Management for the same immediate & submitting of sample is required.
+. Maintaining Minimum stock levels at distributor's and. (Stocks to be maintained as per the of sales in that area).
10. Sole responsibility for achieving primary sales.
11. Getting payments released in time from distributors. (payments is ASMs sole responsibility)
12. Directing HO for release of shipments or with holding them.
13. Sole Responsibility for Secondary sales in the assigned areas.
14. Achievements for schemes.
15. Reporting to NSM Marketing.
16. Accounts setting.
17. Generating requirements for promotion for different areas.
18. Market visit and directs distribution control.
1+. Market evaluation and opening.
20. Personal visit at each A class counter and placing of goods in shelves where 100% visibility is given to Bodycare products.
21. DSR Checking and evaluation of each executive's work under his supervision.
22. Product wise record keeping and generating sales for each product and keeping the stock of distributor rolling.
23. Arranging to liquidate or transfer the non-moving goods from one distributor to another.
24. Implementing marketing strategy and marketing plans in specific area.
25. Providing feedback for sales forecasting.
26. Implementation of promotional strategies.
27. Identification of new distributors
28. Interaction with the distributors.
2+. Seeking Customer feedback.
30. identify customer preferences and inputs for new product developments
31. Target setting for distributors / agents / executives and controlling them.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Handling customer grievances.
2. Correspondence in respect of lead generation and trade & customer enquiries.
3. Follow up for timely receipt of payments.
4. Coordination with warehouse to ensure timely dispatches.
5. Compiling data in respect of new launches of product. Promotional schemes and sales strategies by competitors
