We are currently looking for an individual who is either currently working in carbon projects or is interested in building a career in the carbon market. The position requires a strong interest and experience in designing and leading a carbon project team. Additionally, the role necessitates analytical skills, practical thinking, leadership skills, etc. While prior experience in carbon projects is desirable, it is not mandatory.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Identifying and establishing partnerships with external organizations and vendors to support the successful execution of the program
· Coordinating projects and managing budgets and resources
· Communicating with stakeholders and tracking progress and performance
· Identifying and addressing any issues that arise
· Tracking and reporting on project progress
· Manage and implement & execution plans for projects
· Conduct and run meetings with clients and take minutes of the meetings for future reference.
· Assist in development of presentations and deliverables for timely meetings
· Build relationships with potential partners and different government organizations to scale projects.
· Travel to rural locations in India/project area for monitoring and tracking project impact
· Manage teams for timely status updates, project development decisions, and escalations
Required Skills
Assistant Project Manager should have strong organizational and planning skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should also be able to manage budget and resources effectively, and have the ability to track progress and identify any issues that may arrise
· Undergraduate degree & MBA or 3+ years of work experience in project management
· Leadership skills: The ability to motivate and lead a team, delegate tasks, and make decisions
· Problem-solving skills: The ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
· Time management skills: The ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
· Adaptability: The ability to adjust to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Attention to detail: The ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and on time
· Technical skills: Depending on the program, the Assistant Program Manager may need to have specific technical skills, such as experience with project management software or financial software
