We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our Calgary team, specializing in light- and heavy-duty trucks including half-ton, three-quarter-ton, and one-ton trucks. This is a Monday to Friday position with hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with rental fleets and is confident performing a wide range of maintenance and mechanical tasks from oil changes to engine work. Responsibilities
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various trucks
Conduct oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and full engine work as needed
Maintain rental fleet vehicles to meet safety and performance standards
Accurately document work orders, maintenance logs, and inspection reports
Ensure shop tools and equipment are used and maintained properly
Collaborate with other team members to prioritize work and meet timelines
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive service, ideally with trucks and fleet vehicles
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot independently
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Self-motivated with a high attention to detail and quality
Strong initiative and able to work constructively under pressure
Conditions of Employment
Journeyman Automotive Technician certification is preferred but not required
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with vehicles, preferably with trucks and fleet vehicles
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Clean driver’s abstract required upon employment

Pay Range: $32-35/hr
