Banquet Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services during events and banquets, ensuring that all guests have a memorable dining experience. You will work closely with the kitchen and event staff to deliver food and beverages efficiently, while maintaining a high standard of hospitality.

Responsibilities

Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations.
Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly and courteously.
Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, adhering to food handling and safety guidelines.
Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout the event space during and after service.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of meals.
Follow all health and safety regulations in accordance with industry standards.
Skills

Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Experience in food preparation and knowledge of food handling practices.
Background in food service or restaurant operations is preferred.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of hospitality principles within the food industry is a plus.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during busy events.
A positive attitude and willingness to help others enhance their experience.
Ability to commute/relocate:

Scarborough, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:

Full Service Servers: 1 year (preferred)
