Beverage Manufacturing Executive

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Beverage Manufacturing Executive who specializes in manufacturing beverages, milk-based products, and other liquid formulations. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the manufacturing processes, from production planning to optimizing workflows and ensuring strict adherence to quality and safety standards. The candidate will play a crucial role in streamlining operations, reducing production costs, and maintaining high product safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Management:

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end manufacturing process for beverages, milk-based products, and other liquid formulations.

• Ensure that production schedules are met while optimizing resources and maintaining product quality.

• Monitor daily production activities and resolve any operational challenges.

2. Process Optimization:

• Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in the production line.

• Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

• Optimize production parameters to improve efficiency, consistency, and safety.

3. Quality Assurance and Safety:

• Ensure all products meet or exceed industry quality standards, with a strong focus on food safety.

• Implement and maintain a robust quality control program, including regular testing and inspection procedures.

• Address any safety issues or contamination risks in the production process promptly.

4. Team Leadership:

• Lead, train, and mentor the production team to achieve high levels of performance.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration within the production department.

5. Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations, such as FSSAI, HACCP, and other relevant certifications.

• Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality checks, and safety protocols.

6. Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

• Manage raw material and ingredient inventories to ensure uninterrupted production while minimizing holding costs.

• Collaborate with procurement teams to secure high-quality ingredients and packaging materials at competitive prices.

7. Equipment Maintenance and Upgrades:

• Monitor and maintain all production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

• Recommend and implement upgrades or new technologies to enhance the production line’s capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in beverage manufacturing, with specific expertise in milk-based and liquid products.

• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control procedures, and best manufacturing practices.

• Demonstrated ability to lead production teams and optimize manufacturing operations.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.

• Familiarity with manufacturing software and ERP systems is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Expertise in setting up and scaling production lines.

• Experience in handling automation and process control systems.

• Knowledge of sustainability practices in food manufacturing.
