Introduction:

The role holder will be a member of the Technology, Security & Resilience (TSR) Team Barclays Internal Audit portfolio in Pune. Work collaboratively with others across BIA, while developing strong client relationships which are independent and be seen as a respected voice. Support delivery of BIA Audit Plan.

The role holder will be responsible for understanding the audit requirements and performing key control validations assigned to them. He/She will also have the opportunity to participate and support the line manager in business monitoring, emerging risk identification and all aspects of audit delivery, including issue monitoring and validation.

What will you be doing?
• Support the BIA Technology audit team to ensure key operational processes including audit planning, audit executing, audit testing and audit universe data maintenance are delivered efficiently and effectively;
• Support the execution of audit work and at times execute audit work;
• Able to demonstrate good understanding of key controls to be validated in Audit;
• Well documented work paper and able to articulate conclusion in workpaper with well supported evidences;
• Be conversant internal audit framework and Barclays risk framework;
• Support and perform continuous monitoring of relevant areas in technology;
• Support the follow-up and assessment of the resolution of audit issues.

What We're Looking For
• Good understanding of technology infrastructure risks and controls.
• Be conversant with Cloud Architecture, Cyber Security and Middleware storages and Networks.
• Relevant professional qualifications in technology and cybersecurity preferred (e.g. CISSP, CISA)
• Effectively communicates with key stakeholders and BIA colleagues.
• Reasonable knowledge on Agile Methodology.

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Financial services industry knowledge
• Knowledge about new and emerging financial products and services.
• Knowledge of application control auditing, cyber-security, cloud computing, etc., will be an advantage
• Experience of leading others during audit assignments
