Hybrid Working

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We're flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date.

Introduction:

This role requires the candidate to possess exceptional test automation skills & test management skills. The person must possess good communication & interpersonal skills. The person should be a strong team player with skills to work in onshore-offshore model.
The candidate will be responsible for development and maintenance of UI Test automation & API Test Automation suites for the allocated projects. The candidate will be responsible to work very closely with other technology team members including BTB and RTB, Business Analysts.
The chosen candidate will work with our stakeholders to gather testing requirements and help us deliver quality product to our global user base.

What will you be doing?

• Understand the project business, functionalities & Technology stack.

• Gather & understand requirements from business & stakeholders.

• Create test plan, test strategy, test cases & execute them, report test execution results.

• Automate repeatable test cases as part of regression testing using Protractor, typescript/JavaScript.

• Manage test suites by updating & enhancing the framework & code to keep it up to date.

• Implement & manage Jenkins CI pipelines for CD.

• Participate in scrums & keep track of overall testing activities in the project.

• Represent project & group in different forums.

• Devise efficient solutions for solving business problems & technical challenges in day-to-day work.

• Should be quick learner & adapt to changes as per business needs.

• Good at coding in typescript/ Javascript, SQL.

• Proficient in Selenium webdriver, RestAssured, Protractor.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelors/master's degree

• Around 3 years of overall testing experience with minimum 2 years in Automation Testing

• Hands-on experience in Java, Selenium Webdriver, TestNG, RestAssured. TypeScript/Javascript.

• Good understanding of Framework creation & project implementation.

• Experience on Rest API testing using Rest Assured, Rest Client.

• Experience in Database testing & SQL query writing.

• Experience in Jenkins/TeamCity build creation & maintenance for CI/CD.

• Experience in Source code management tools such as GIT.

Skills that will help you in the role:-

• Experience in Protractor

• Performance monitoring using AppDynamics.

• Readiness to learn & adopt new technologies.
