About The Role:

An urgent opportunity for an experienced EL1 Board Secretariat Specialist to lead high-level secretariat services, delivering essential support to senior leadership during a pivotal period of organisational growth and transformation.
Level/ Classification: EL1
Contract Duration: 6 Months (extension can be discussed on interview stage)
Location: Canberra, ACT
Requirements:

Must be an Australia citizen
Undergo ID verification check
Must undergo a Police check
Must hold or be able to obtain a Baseline Commonwealth Security Clearance
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the support and coordination of meetings for senior leadership.
Develop and implement contemporary corporate governance practices.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build effective relationships.
Provide advice and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
Maintain records of decisions, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Support junior team members, offering leadership and guidance.
Required Experience and Skills:

Extensive experience in secretariat services for senior committees.
Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of integrity and discretion in managing sensitive information.
Proven track record of building and sustaining key internal and external relationships.
Ability to quickly understand organisational strategic direction.
