We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant & Bookkeeper to support our team in managing various administrative and bookkeeping tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge and experience with accounting software (specifically Sage 50 & QuickBooks), ensuring efficient handling of accounts payable and receivable, payroll along with communicating with our clients via telephone and e-mail. This role is essential in maintaining smooth office operations and supporting financial processes.
Duties
Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Utilize accounting software such as Sage 50 and QuickBooks for data entry and financial reporting.
Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation.
Assist with clerical duties including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Support team members with administrative tasks as needed to enhance productivity.
Reception duties
Skills
Proficiency in accounting software (Sage & QuickBooks) is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and account analysis.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Outlook).
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new.
