We are seeking an assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting and ensuring accurate invoicing, and maintaining financial records. This role requires proficiency in various software systems to support accounting, payroll and billing function effectively.
Duties
Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Review billing discrepancies and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
Maintain detailed records of transactions, adjustments, and payments within the billing system.
Collaborate with the Finance Director to ensure proper account reconciliations.
Utilize Excel, Day Force (Ceridian), Sage for data entry and reporting purposes.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to billing activities.
Skills
Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage is preferred.
Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
Familiarity with excel is an advantage.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong problem-solving abilities to identify discrepancies and implement solutions.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.
