SIMCO Management (Calgary) Inc. presently has an opportunity for a full-time Building Technician/ Building Operator. We are looking for an experienced, highly organized, and self-motivated professional to join the team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Deliver superior customer service and represents the company in a professional manner at all times

- Work in conjunction with the Condo Manager

- Perform duties as assigned, in a timely manner. Including but not limited to daily paperwork both by hand and electronically.

- Perform additional duties as required

- Maintain contractor schedules and oversee work

- Attend and participate in training programs as required by SIMCO/Board of Directors

- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

EDUCATION/EXPERINCE:

- High School diploma or equivalent

- Must have experience in some or all of the following skills: Painting, cleaning, landscaping, light maintenance duties.

OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

- Problem solving skills that involve many variables

- Work independently as well as in a team, with respect for other team members

- Reliable truck or van

- Criminal background check

- Standard hand and power tools and all other tools related to skills and abilities

- Professionalism to be displayed through all aspects of the role

- Legally entitled to work in Canada
