Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and a strong background in cabinet construction. This role involves creating high-quality cabinets and custom exhibit pieces, ensuring precision and craftsmanship in every project. The Cabinet Maker will work closely with designers and the shop to bring their visions to life while adhering to safety standards and best practices in the workshop.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications for cabinets and furniture.
Assemble cabinet components using various hand tools and power tools, ensuring accuracy in measurements and cuts.
Utilize CNC machinery for precise cutting and shaping of materials as required.
Apply finishing techniques such as construction painting, caulking, and other surface treatments to enhance the appearance of finished products.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Assist with masonry tasks as needed for custom installations or repairs.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role in woodworking or carpentry.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading and technical drawings.
Knowledge of construction painting techniques, caulking methods, and basic masonry skills is preferred.
Ability to plumb cabinets accurately during installation processes.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials when necessary.

Pay: $18.77-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
