Carpenter

DRK Modular is looking to hire a Carpenter to join our growing team in Edmonton AB!

DRK Modular provides installation , dismantle, retrofit and service work on modular trailers across the province. The scope of work includes but is not limited to - cribbing, framing, drywall, flooring, cladding, epdm roofing and finish carpentry. DRK Modular is looking for applicants that are comfortable working in a fast paced environment and come in with a strong work ethic.

Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license
Must have own hand tools and select power tools
This position is safety sensitive and gaining access to client sites will require completion of pre-access A&D testing
Willingness to work out of town when needed
Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience working in the Modular field an asset
at least 3+ years in construction
Operate hand and power tools to perform various construction tasks effectively.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate project execution.
Assist in carpentry, drywall installation, and flooring tasks as required.
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols, including confined space regulations.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
Conduct regular maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
able to lift up to 50lbs consistently , for extended periods of time
have strong communication skills and work well with a team
Tickets/Certifications Required:

CSTS 20
WHIMIS
Fall Protection
Any additional tickets are an asset (EWP, telehandler, confined space,H2S, ect)

Job Type : Full Time

Pay: $30 - $40 per hour

Wage will be based off the value you add to the team and your experience

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
