Full job description
About the Role:

We are looking for a carpenter/framer to work inside our factory in the manual build department where we build stairs and walls for new homes.

Key Responsibilities:

Adherence to safety protocols, quality control, and workplace policies.
Ensure required materials and supplies are available.
Measure, cut, assemble, align and install various construction materials according to specification and standards.
Read and understand blueprints and construction layouts.
Maintain workplace safety standards and follow quality control procedures.
Provide on-the-job training to others and participate in problem-solving initiatives.
Handle general labor and cleanup duties.
Work on a fast-paced production line.
Requirements:

Skills with power, air, and hand tools.
1 year of experience with residential framing.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and able to follow direction well.
Knowledge of imperial and metric measurement systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
